‍The Mission

The National Eucharistic Congress (NEC) was about to host one of the largest Catholic events in a generation. Tens of thousands had already registered, and a cross-country Eucharistic Pilgrimage was headed to Indianapolis, where the Congress would be held. The Congress would mark the high point of the National Eucharistic Revival, and the NEC team needed the technology to match the moment.

Our Role

The Congress had promised digital content for both in-person and virtual attendees. They needed a platform to host this content—one that could meet the scale of the Congress and the urgency of its mission. Annunciate was there for the NEC with an easy solution that could be customized to the unique needs of the Congress and rolled out in time.

So why does this matter?

The Manna app became a central hub for Congress session recordings as well as podcasts, videos, and other Eucharistic content. Both Congress attendees and the wider Catholic audience could access this extensive digital library via both free and paid subscription options. When the Congress team planned a second app for Eucharistic Adoration, Annunciate’s customizable features extended Manna instead—saving time and resources and providing a better, more streamlined experience for Manna users.
